Breakfast and pre-dinner champagne with canapes are included in our
rates, but there are additional ways in which to enjoy fine wine and dining at The Lakeview House.
DINNER SERVICE
We offer you a range of additional food experiences as part of your stay at The Lakeview House. These are always tailored to the individual’s tastes and interests, but range from a fabulous dinner where we do absolutely everything, to joining Celia in the kitchen with a glass of wine in hand for your own cooking class where you help prepare some of her proven
recipes for success and enjoy the results. Three course dinner at The Lakeview House is $95 per person (min 2 people), excluding wine (of which have a carefully selected range of great New Zealand vintages for you to enjoy).
PICNIC LUNCHES
(By prior arrangement.) We are happy to pack a gourmet picnic basket for guests to enjoy while exploring Taupo (min 2 people, $55 per person).
PRIVATE FUNCTIONS
As a function venue, The Lakeview House is a stunning location for both formal and informal events. Whether it be private or corporate function – breakfast, lunch, cocktails or dinner – we can cater for up to 50 guests in a unique environment along with fabulous food and wine.
WORKSHOPS & CLASSES
As one of New Zealand’s favourite cooking and home-styling experts, Celia Laity loves sharing her recipes, ideas and creative flair in a
class environment. The Lakeview House kitchen can comfortably accommodate groups of up to 30 for classes tailored to your interests and availability.
